Dr. Brimhall’s journey into dermatology is marked by a commitment to excellence. Her training is marked by a distinguished preliminary year in Internal Medicine and residency in Dermatology at one of the top 5 Dermatology programs in the US, University Hospitals of Cleveland and Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Brimhall made a significant contribution in her program, leading to her selection as the administrative chief resident. This early experience set the stage for her stellar career in dermatology.
For over 13 years, Dr. Brimhall made significant contributions practicing in the Salt Lake Valley treating patients with complicated medical and surgical dermatologic conditions. Her expertise was further recognized through earning fellowship status with the American Society for Mohs Surgery and board-certification in Mohs Micrographic Surgery. She additionally holds fellowships from other prominent organizations including the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology (AOCD), and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS). As a leader in her field she was elected secretary/treasurer of the Utah Dermatology Society in 2025. She is passionate about dermatology education and educates online as @TheHolisticDerm.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Brimhall finds joy in spending time with her husband and five children, including her new son-in-law. Her diverse interests include dancing, reading, hiking, biking, engaging in humanitarian work, and mentoring young women aspiring to pursue careers while maintaining a work-life balance.
